In plain words
Licence & FAQ
The questions worth asking before you spend money, answered before you have to ask them.
- Am I buying the software, or licensing it?
- Licensing it. You own your brand, domain, content, customer relationships, customer data and revenue. We retain the underlying application code and the right to license the same product to other buyers. This is stated here rather than in the handover pack because discovering it afterwards is how people end up feeling misled. Custom builds are the exception: if we build something for you through the build slot, the code is yours.
- What happens if I stop paying maintenance?
- Maintenance is a condition of the licence, not an optional extra. If it lapses, the licence ends and the instance reverts to us. We will give you notice and a reasonable period to reinstate, and you can export your customer data at any time.
- Can I sell my instance later?
- Yes, subject to the licence terms and to the buyer taking on the maintenance agreement. Tell us and we will handle the transfer.
- Is the A$500 deposit really refundable?
- Yes, within 14 days, for any reason, without explanation. It reserves configuration time; it is not a commitment to buy. Ask and we refund it.
- Do you guarantee the app will make money?
- No, and treat anyone in this category who does with suspicion. Any revenue figures we publish are labelled as scenarios, not as results, and market-size statistics are never presented as traction.
- Why is there no phone number?
- Contact is asynchronous by design: email only, with a 48-hour response on business days, and a maximum of two scheduled calls per engagement. It is what makes fixed prices and fast delivery possible.
- Will you build me something custom?
- Only through the build slot, which is one fixed-scope project a month at a published price, and which is currently closed. Everything else is the fixed catalogue. There is no custom scoping.
Our own standards
What we hold ourselves to
Published so you can hold us to it, and so that breaking one of these is visible rather than convenient.
- Any number published on this site links to something you can check, and carries the date it was last verified. This is enforced by the build: a claim without evidence will not compile.
- Revenue figures are labelled as scenarios. Market-size statistics are never presented as traction.
- The licence model appears on the listing and on the product page, not only in the contract.
- We publish what we have not yet done, including the number of instances sold while that number is zero.
- No testimonials without a named, consenting, contactable source. No client logo walls. No awards.
Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. Maintenance is a condition of every licence.
